Summer Beach Art Camp 

with Joy Pesaturo

 

Beach...Art...Camp...Do we need to say more? Your little artist will practice new art techniques and skills, as they learn from Joy Pesaturo, a local artist! Joy will use our very own beach to inspire beach themed art projects that will keep your kids engaged and exploring new styles of art. 

 

Beach Art Camp will take place M/W/F, July 8,10, and 12th, from 9AM to 1PM each of those days. The cost for the week is $120, and we have 15 spaces in the class. Joy will be assisted by 2-3 of our trained camp staff. Kids should bring their own lunches (this assures that your child is eating what you choose and we keep them safe from food allergies and sensitivities!)

 

What to bring?

 - Lunch and snack

 - Water Bottle

 - A light jacket or sweatshirt as the camp can be cool in the morning

 - Shoes that can handle a little walk on the beach

 

Joy Pesaturo is a local artist (click here to read more or see some of her beautiful art). She also works in the Anacortes School District as an Artist-in-the-Classroom, a program where each child has an opportunity to work with a real artist to learn and create art projects of their own.

 

Our camp staff, who will be supporting Joy, are trained to work with your kids and provide an encouraging environment during their time at the camp. All staff are background checked and go through a special training, to ensure your child is safe and well taken care of during their time at the camp!
